Speaking to reporters here, Karjol said, “He (Uddhav) should read history before making comments… Chhatrapati Shivaji’s ancestors were from Soraturu in Gadag district. Shivaji is the fourth generation descendant of Belliyappa, who migrated to Maharashtra following successive droughts in Gadag.”
