1861. Sarada Vilas Anglo-Sanskrit Pathashala, Mysore
150 years ago the Sarada Vilas Anglo-Sanskrit Pathashala was Founded by Rao Bahadur Bhakshi Narsappa. The vision and project was supported by the King Sri Mummadi Krishnaraja Wadiyar and was started and housed inside the premises of a Palace Temple with 20 students. It was the first private school in Mysore
