The following power-lifters, trained at Apollo Gymnasium in Vidyaranyapuram, who represented Mysuru district at the State-level Power-lifting (RAW) Championship (selections for Nationals) held at Davanagere on Mar. 18, have won medals in various categories:
S. Abhishek (Class – 75 kgs) – Bronze in Bench Press (BP) and Bronze in Dead Lifting (DL) – Junior – 20 years category and Silver in BP – Senior (Challenged) category.
T. Jayaram (56 kgs) – Gold in BP and Gold in DL – Master ii – 52 years; M.D. Sreenivasa Prasad (75 kgs) – Gold in BP and Gold in DL – Grand Master – 60 years category.
T. Satish (68 kgs) – Gold in BP – Senior – 35 years category.
