Two students of the Institute of Public Policy, National Law School of India University (NLSIU), have been declared regional winners of the 2021 NASPAA-Batten Student Simulation Competition. Anirudh Jaiswal and Shubham Prakash have been ranked fourth and fifth, respectively, in the Asia Zone. More than 400 students from 120 universities in 30 countries took part.

Keith Lennor, a student of A.J. Institute of Engineering and Technology, Mangaluru, has won the Mangaluru regional finals of the 12th edition of TCS TechBytes quiz competition.
Harsha C.S. from Vivekananda College of Engineering and Technology, Puttur, was the runner-up.

The Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), the country’s sovereign wealth fund, and Stelis Biopharma, the biopharmaceutical division of Bengaluru-based Strides Pharma, have entered into a partnership to produce and supply a minimum of 200 million doses (enough to vaccinate 100 million people) of the Russian Sputnik V vaccine against coronavirus.

A North Western Railway Zone doctor was lauded after she assisted in the delivery of a baby girl onboard an IndiGo flight from Bengaluru to Jaipur on Wednesday.
An official communique from the airlines stated that the baby was delivered with the help of the flight crew under the guidance of Dr Subhana Nazir.
There were 116 passengers onboard the flight.
