** Meet Subhana Nazir, doctor who helped deliver baby onboard Jaipur-Bengaluru flight

A North Western Railway Zone doctor was lauded after she assisted in the delivery of a baby girl onboard an IndiGo flight from Bengaluru to Jaipur on Wednesday.

An official communique from the airlines stated that the baby was delivered with the help of the flight crew under the guidance of Dr Subhana Nazir.

There were 116 passengers onboard the flight.

** Business school helps FPO enter wholesale trade

In a first, the decennial foundation day celebrations of a business school will coincide with a Farmer Producer Organisation (FPO) setting up an office at the Agriculture Produce Marketing Committee (APMC) Yard at Amaragol in Hubballi to begin dealing in wholesale trade.

This FPO formed by a group of 25 farmers from Gamanagatti village is being mentored by Chetan Business School, which is celebrating its decennial foundation day on Friday.

** Mysuru gets Centre for Excellence in rubber technology, research

The Indian Rubber Institute (IRI), a professional body of rubber technologists, engineers, scientists and academicians, has established Centre for Excellence for Rubber Technology, Education, Training, Research, Testing and Skill Development on the JSS Science and Technology University campus here.

The JSS Mahavidyapeetha has provided 10,000 sq. ft of land on long lease to IRI for establishing the Centre.
